Hossein Najafi is an Iranian digital media artist and filmmaker. In 1999, he founded the small production studio Didar Film and director over fifty television commercials. Meanwhile, he graduated with a MFA in Cinema from the University of Tehran. From 2009 to 2011, he worked for Touchwood Animation in London. In 2011, he moved to Istanbul, Turkey where he worked with many companies including Ulkutay Productions, Cordoba Animations, Imaj Post Productions, CherryCherryVFX and Genius Park. Biyografi
Hossein Najafi is an Iranian digital media artist and filmmaker. In 1999, he founded the small production studio Didar Film and director over fifty television commercials. Meanwhile, he graduated with a MFA in Cinema from the University of Tehran. From 2009 to 2011, he worked for Touchwood Animation in London. In 2011, he moved to Istanbul, Turkey where he worked with many companies including Ulkutay Productions, Cordoba Animations, Imaj Post Productions, CherryCherryVFX and Genius Park. In December 2015, he moved to New Zealand to study PhD in Arts and Design at the Auckland University of Technology. From May 2016 to May 2017, he worked for Auckland-based Yukfoo Studio as a senior animation artist. From May 2017 to Feb 2018, he worked for Toybox NZ as CG Supervisor. He was offered a lecturer position at the Animation College, and on Feb 2019, he became a full-time tenured lecturer at AUT.
