The movie was shown at the El Sawy Culturewheel Film Festival, and it won the Jury Prize. The movie was also shown at the FIBA Festival in France and at the Goethe Institute. Her film Settou Zad, My First Passion - a documentary that tells the story of her grandmother and how she was affected by her- participated in the Dubai Film Festival. Heba co-starred in Villa 69 (2013).
