Clyde Hanna was born in Edinburgh in 2004, and has since lived in Canada, Portugal, and the Netherlands (where he's currently based, in Rotterdam). He's been making films since he was 10 years old, but positioned himself differently over the years and tried to learn about every facet of the process. Clyde Hanna was born in Edinburgh in 2004, and has since lived in Canada, Portugal, and the Netherlands (where he's currently based, in Rotterdam). He's been making films since he was 10 years old, but positioned himself differently over the years and tried to learn about every facet of the process. In 2026, Clyde completed a Bachelor's Degree in Audiovisual Design at the Willem de Kooning Academie with his third short film Blue Man in Orange, the first of many fictional character studies to come in his career. He has always had a strong passion for telling personal/intimate stories, often set in absurd scenarios. Clyde now works primarily as a sound artist, recording and designing sound for himself and for others (as a freelancer), looking to immerse himself in the Dutch independent and industry filmmaking worlds. On the side, he enjoys analogue photography and making music.
