A family who have moved from the city to the countryside take in a mysterious lodger, Sian.

Sian's behavior is successfully destabilizing the family as the intense drama continues. A pawn shop receipt stirs up trouble, and Alice's life is suddenly put in danger.

Sian's manipulations become increasingly divisive. As Jessica desperately tries to reconnect with her daughter, Nick is horrified to find himself implicated in a violent incident.
