The first edition examines the early days of SAW and the very varied cast list of acts who entered their world, from the outrageous American drag star Divine, who gave them their first Top 40 hit, through to Hazell Dean, who took them into the Top 10.

As Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan achieve massive hits in 1987, SAW faces the challenge of ensuring continued success despite formidable opposition from major music labels.
