Now on the streets, Hetty is shocked when she discovers her greatest enemy in a desperate situation. Meanwhile, back at Calendar Hall, Harriet and Mathias’ wedding plans hit crisis point.

Now in great danger, Hetty needs all her strength and savviness to save Matron and help bring together the Calendar family and all her Foundling friends.

Hetty is amazed to get some very unexpected help as she writes her life story and looks back on her experience as a Foundling and a servant.

Hetty continues to write the story looking back on her life, while others face life-changing decisions of their own.
