In Barato, Hijikata's group encounters an unexpected ally. Meanwhile, in Sapporo, Asirpa's group and Ushiyama stay at a hotel run by the alluring Ienaga.

Sugimoto's group witnesses Inkarmat's fortune-telling skills at a gambling den. Later, they make a deal with a rancher to take down a monstrous bear.

With valuable intel from Dunn, Sugimoto's group heads to Yubari. Meanwhile, Tsurumi meets a skilled taxidermist named Edogai and proposes a cunning plan.

While searching for a way to identify the fake skins, Hijikata's and Sugimoto's groups must unite to fend off a surprise attack from the 7th Division.
