Thanks to Byl and his team, Vermeer failed and the unit was restored to their former glory. However, this does not mean fewer challenges. Someone targets prostitutes while the sea spits out corpses.

A mass grave is discovered in the sea and when the bodies are removed, the serial killer begins to escalate. A piece of chewing gum is found in the groin of a ripper victim.

A second body with signs of poisoning is found in a trash can. After Byl fails to authorize payments, Juan receives an irresistible offer. Jo suspects William is hiding something.

The serial killer targets her final victim and it gets personal. Nicki finds company with Alex and this displeases Byl. A key person in the Impersonator case goes missing.

A hunting trip takes a dark turn and it makes a friend of Nicki's question his decisions. Juan develops an algorithm to predict which serial killer the Impersonator will impersonate next.

Byl finds his own DNA at an Impersonator murder scene. William's relationship with his neighbor deteriorates further. Jo is put in a difficult situation and has to face her demons.

Human remains found near a slaughterhouse put Byl on the trail of an artist. The unit makes a breakthrough on the Impersonator's clues. Jo and William share an intimate moment.

Victor takes the final steps to complete his perfect work of art. Mia receives a message for Byl from a tramp. The content makes him realize the Impersonator is closer than they think.

Stopping the Impersonator becomes a race against time. Juan's suspicion that the killer might be part of the unit turns into an office fight, while Byl finds himself in a trap.

Byl must rely on his team to save him, but they must solve clues and find the latest Mimic victim before it's too late. The killer's final package has deadly consequences.
